The wind was sure howling last night! I had planned on riding my 50 miles on the Centennial Trail this morning with lots of lights but that wind was awful. Got Persephone on the trainer and I peddled away and caught up with my DVR'd episodes of Ellen. Three hours and 20 spin minutes later I put the bike and accessories away and headed to the pool. Lake Stevens High School pool is open at 10 am on Sundays. It's a couple of degrees warmer than the SAC and no hot tub. Oh well. No dilly dallying for me. I had a couple of food shops to go to for the Seahawks game. I was starving by then. I made a protein and energy drink for before the swim. Liquids sit better than solids pre-workout but I burned that off in the swim.
Easy week starts tomorrow. Gotta rest the legs.
Go Hawks!
I love it here! |
Hi Sheryl, so excited for your journey to Kona! I just finished reading a cool book called Heart of a Champion about Greg Welsh and his Ironman journey. It is a great triumph and I'm very proud of you!
